At Axxa Media, LLC, we respect your absolute right to control your personal culinary data. Whether you wish to clear your digital Recipe Vault or completely terminate your account, we provide transparent, straightforward, and verifiable mechanisms to execute permanent deletion.
In compliance with Google Play Store Data Safety policies, Apple App Store App Privacy requirements, the GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA, this document details how to delete your account both inside the mobile application and via our verified web request channel.
2. In-App Self-Service Account Deletion
The fastest and most direct way to delete your TasteScribe AI account and all associated data is through the mobile application:
- Open TasteScribe AI on your mobile device.
- Tap the Profile / Settings icon in the navigation bar.
- Select "Account & Security."
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap "Delete Account & Data."
- A confirmation dialog will appear detailing the consequences of permanent deletion. Confirm by tapping "Permanently Delete My Account."
Upon confirmation, your session is immediately terminated, your authentication token is revoked, and your records are queued for cloud erasure.
3. Web-Based Verified Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your mobile device, you may submit a formal deletion request via our verified privacy intake desk:

- Subject Line: TasteScribe AI — Verified Account Deletion Request
- Required Information: 1. The primary email address registered to your TasteScribe AI account. 2. Approximate date of account creation. 3. Confirmation statement: "I request the permanent deletion of my TasteScribe AI account and all associated culinary data."
Verification Protocol:
To safeguard your account from malicious or fraudulent deletion by unauthorized parties, our privacy desk will send a verification confirmation link or security token to the registered account email. Deletion processing commences only upon verified identity confirmation.
4. Data Elements Purged vs. Legally Retained
What is Permanently Deleted within Thirty (30) Days:
- User account profile, account identifiers, registered email address, authentication credentials, and session metadata.
- All personal Recipe Vault records, digitized cards, custom tags, and notes.
- All uploaded manuscript photos, cookbook scans, and food imagery.
- Smart pantry inventory lists, expiration logs, and grocery cart entries.
- All "Ask TasteScribe AI" conversation transcripts and search query telemetry.
- Subscription entitlement mapping records and anonymous purchase identifiers.
What is Retained and Why:
- Statutory Financial Records: Anonymized order confirmation numbers, transaction dates, and tax records are retained solely for tax, corporate accounting, and audit compliance as mandated by federal and state law. We do not retain payment card details.
5. Crucial Warning Regarding Active Subscriptions
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING APP STORE SUBSCRIPTIONS:
Deleting your TasteScribe AI account does NOT automatically cancel recurring subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Because payments are billed directly by Apple Inc. or Google LLC, you must independently cancel your subscription via your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > TasteScribe AI > Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > TasteScribe AI > Cancel Subscription.
Axxa Media, LLC cannot cancel or refund subscriptions managed under your personal Apple or Google store accounts.
Please cancel active Apple or Google subscriptions in your device settings prior to requesting account deletion to prevent continued store billing.
