Axxa Media, LLC provides full transparency and user control regarding the retention and deletion of your data in PlantDr AI. In compliance with Google Play Data Safety standards, Apple App Store Privacy mandates, the GDPR, and the CCPA, this document provides the procedures to permanently purge your account and botanical data.
2. In-App Self-Service Deletion
To delete your account and data directly within PlantDr AI:
- Open the PlantDr AI app.
- Tap the Settings icon in the navigation bar.
- Select "Account & Security."
- Tap "Delete Account & Data."
- Review the warning prompt and confirm permanent deletion.
Upon confirmation, your session is immediately terminated and your cloud records are queued for complete erasure.
3. Web-Based Verified Request Workflow
If you cannot access the mobile application, submit a verified deletion request via email:

- Subject: PlantDr AI — Verified Account Deletion Request
- Information Required: Registered email address, approximate date of account registration, and confirmation of deletion intent.
Verification Step:
Our privacy team will dispatch a verification link or security code to the registered email to confirm account ownership before initiating permanent data destruction.
4. What Data is Purged vs. Retained
Permanently Purged within Thirty (30) Calendar Days:
- User account profile, account identifiers, registered email address, and authentication credentials.
- All "My Garden" plant records, nicknames, photos, and care logs.
- All diagnosis histories, symptom submissions, and lux measurement logs.
- All "Ask AI Botanist" conversation logs.
Retained Data:
- Anonymized transaction identifiers and tax records are retained exclusively to comply with statutory accounting and tax regulations. No payment card details are stored.
5. Crucial Warning Regarding App Store Subscriptions
Account deletion does NOT cancel active recurring subscriptions billed through Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
You must cancel your subscription directly in device settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Apple ID] > Subscriptions > PlantDr AI > Cancel.
- Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > PlantDr AI > Cancel.
Cancel your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription before deleting your account to prevent recurring store billing.
Initiate Verified Account Deletion
For security, deletion requests submitted outside the mobile application must be verified via your registered account email address. Clicking below will open your email client with a pre-formatted verification request to our privacy intake desk.
